Slab stage, pipe out to fit off: At the slab stage, the plumbing pipes are laid out and fixed in place before the concrete slab is poured. Plumbing fixtures, such as taps, toilets, and sinks, are installed and connected to the pipes installed during the slab stage. This is typically done after the walls have been framed, but before the plasterboard is installed.
Interior drainage/waste to the exterior: This stage covers the process of connecting the internal drainage and waste pipes to the external sewer or septic system. We'll ensure the pipes are correctly installed, sloped and connected to the appropriate external drainage system.
Pipe out, pressure tested: Once the pipes have been installed and connected, they will be pressure tested to ensure they are watertight and can withstand the pressure of normal use. Any leaks or problems will be identified and corrected before the next stage of construction is underway.
Tiled, fitted off: At this stage, the bathroom and kitchen areas will be tiled, and plumbing fixtures such as taps, toilets, and sinks will be installed and connected to the pipes. The efficient Aspen Plumbing team will ensure that all fixtures are level, secure and correctly sealed.
Client handover: This is the final stage of the plumbing process on a new residential build. Our expert team will take a final look at every fit out to ensure that all plumbing fixtures are correctly installed, tested and functioning before property handover.
